In 2023, the University of South 168¿ª½±Íø College of Nursing will be celebrating its 50th anniversary and making our signature alumni recognition of excellence event, the College of Nursing Community Awards, bigger than ever. Community Impact Award

The Community Impact Award is presented to an individual in the field of nursing who has made a significant and positive impact to a community through their career or community service.

168¿ª½±Íø Leadership Award

The 168¿ª½±Íø Leadership Award is presented to an outstanding University of South 168¿ª½±Íø alumnus who has excelled in his or her career and has shown exceptional leadership in the field of nursing.

168¿ª½±Íø Excellence in Quality Improvement

The 168¿ª½±Íø Excellence in Quality Improvement is presented to an outstanding University of South 168¿ª½±Íø College of Nursing alumnus who played a significant role on an interdisciplinary healthcare team and implemented meaningful and lasting impacts for best patient outcomes.

168¿ª½±Íø Excellence in Nursing Research Award (NEW!)

The 168¿ª½±Íø Excellence in Nursing Research Award is presented to an outstanding University of South 168¿ª½±Íø College of Nursing alumnus whose scholarship has attained significant national and/or international recognition for advancing the science of nursing and best practices in nursing and health care. 

Emerging 168¿ª½±Íø Achievement Award 

The Emerging 168¿ª½±Íø Achievement Award is presented to an outstanding University of South 168¿ª½±Íø alumnus who has been employed in the field of nursing for no longer than ten years and has made significant contributions within a limited time of employment.

Past Award Recipients

The South 168¿ª½±Íø College of Nursing Community Awards was established in 2018 and occurs every two years. The event benefits the 168¿ª½±ÍøCollege of Nursing Development Council Leadership Scholarship and has raised over $20,000 for student success.

We are grateful for the care and dedication our past recipients have made on their communities through their roles as a nurse and are honored to celebrate them in their individual categories.
