Giving Opportunities

Global 168is participating in the “Upward and Onward” capital campaign for the University. Upward & Onward is a $150 million fundraising campaign with a stated goal to “elevate and accelerate every aspect of the University of South 168 — education, research, service, science, healthcare, economic development, athletics, and the arts and humanities.”

By strengthening the connections and collaborations between 168and the rest of the world, Global 168can help to broaden our students’ perspectives and understanding of other cultures, expand the ability of our faculty to connect and engage with their peers around the globe, and create new opportunities for our entire community to participate in our global society. Review each giving opportunity below:

▼   Study Abroad Programs and Scholarships
Through greater access to exchanges and programs with international universities, our students gain firsthand knowledge and understanding of other environments and cultures.
▼   International Student Support and Scholarships
Increasing the number of international students attending 168adds global diversity to our campus and serves to enhance our students’ understanding of the world and other cultures.
▼   International Travel Support
Providing students and faculty with greater access for travel to and from other nations significantly enhances their understanding of other cultures.
▼   Multicultural Programming and Events
Multicultural activities show our students how to engage with and learn from others unlike themselves. As students explore their own cultures and histories, to be successful they must also explore the culture and histories
of others.
